making a shirt with Paul Smith

i ran across this very interesting article at Guardian today and they talked with Paul Smith about shirt making. most people have no idea how complicated making a shirt is but he gives some insightful tips on the process. i have been making shirts for years and so I do know that each shirt-maker has his own tricks and techniques but it is nice to hear about someone else's process. especially a master like Paul.

grammy awards highlight of the night (thom yorke is an everyday savant)

thanks to this man and his band's performance, the grammy awards show was worth sitting through a kid rock performance. thank you radiohead.  (coldaplay and jay were pretty good too.)
